Is a town in the Sacred Valley of southern Peru that is located next to the Urubamba River, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. It is known for the ruins of Ollantaytambo, a huge Inca fortress with large stone terraces on a hill. The main points of interest of this complex are the enormous Temple of the Sun and the source of the Baths of the Princess. The old town is a grid of the Inca era with cobbled streets and adobe buildings.
